This site is a tribute to Michael Lacey. He was our much loved Dad, Grandad, Great-Grandad, Uncle, neighbour and friend. A hard working, polite, immaculate and kind gentleman who loved to be outdoors pottering in his garden, feeding his birds and taking daily strolls. He would be on the go non-stop and would do anything for anyone. After losing his beloved wife Gretta in October, his health took a turn and he declined very quickly. After a very difficult month in hospital, he sadly slipped away with his family all around him. Although we know that his passing brought an end to his suffering and meant he could be reunited with his wife, it has left an unimaginablely painful void in all our lives. We will miss him more than words can say and are so blessed he was ours. His last words were ‘thank you’  a true testament to who he was, so we wish to thank him now, for everything. We will love and miss him forever.
